During the last Pride in Rome, here in Italy, I had the pleasure of seeing that many African families came to demonstrate peacefully with the rest of the LGBT community against all forms of social discrimination. Children and adults mixed without any problem and without anyone shouting scandal, united to demonstrate that sexual orientation or skin color are distinctive characteristics and not discriminating agents.

A family, although conceptually distant from what we are traditionally accustomed to, can actually be made up of people of the same sex without missing the fulcrum of each family: love.
