A total collapse of tourism in Rome, predictable but which leaves you speechless in numbers. The city, with the coronavirus emergency and despite the partial reopening of the borders, has gone from about 300 thousand tourists a day to just a thousand. A decrease of 99.7%.
Taking a tour through the streets of the historic center, crowded throughout the year, or among the major tourist attractions and monuments, from the Imperial Forums to the Colosseum, passing through the most famous fountains, from that of Trevi to Barberini, Rome is semi- deserted. I was in the Forums yesterday and decided to take this picture of Ucrainian woman visiting the immortal city.
