Some tourists think Amsterdam is a city of sin, but in truth it is a city of freedom. And in freedom, most people find sin. – John Green –

You hear talk of Amsterdam as the European capital of the outrage to morals, like the most easy city of all time, as the place of transgressions.

Yet after some time since my last trip to Holland I still can not convince myself that it is.

The memories of my days are mostly climatic: one minute pours down and then turning the corner you find a dazzling sun.

Everything is very calm, flat, starting from the streets, without ever a major ascent or descent, to such mild and peaceful people that you feel almost rude to talk in the tram with your friend in a low voice, for the deafening silence that it is perceived.

The bicycles whizzing in every direction and beware putting foot also just by mistake on a bike path: the bells start ringing wildly.

Markets, the real heart of the city, teem with people and the items to buy are of all kinds. A great environment to take photos, even if people seemed wary.
